An entrepreneur with inbred dynamism, a street savvy man of business who overcame the obstacles of war, preserved his moral values and maintained his vocation of bridging cultures. Nahas was a pioneer introducing products such as Ecuadorian bananas and Brazilian meat and poultry to emerging countries, and significantly to Turkey where the import of bananas became the symbol of open trade. As the Honorary Consul General of Ecuador in Turkey, and CEO of Na Plus, this man of cultures has embraced many ideals that include saving the rain forests, the empowerment of women, the protection of children, and the creation of scholarships and foundations. The interview with Ricardo Karam took place in Istanbul, Turkey.
