
Born in Lebanon, national of Bahrain, Chairman of Promoseven Holdings, a major business conglomerate in the Gulf, started in Lebanon and which today is the largest advertising and communications network in the Middle East and North Africa. Miknas also owns several major hospitality and leisure companies in the Kingdom of Bahrain and is owner of the McDonald’s franchise in Lebanon. With an interest running into real estate, Miknas owns prime buildings in various countries and is also a partner in several real estate and investment ventures. Working with several governments in and out of the region on various projects campaigns and developmental work, Miknas undertook the marketing of the Asian Games in Doha 2006 and helped launch a communications strategy for the Gulf Air Bahrain F1 Grand Prix. An avid collector of antiques, objets d’art, his interests extend into mid-19th century memorabilia as well as a remarkable collection of vintage and heritage cars.
