Carrying the spirit of prosperity from the Bekaa valley, Anthony Tannouri left his home country, Lebanon in 1964 to settle in Europe. He started work in trading at a very young age and his first transaction was wood trade in Germany. His dreams transcended the European borders. He got the French nationality on Dec. 24, 1988 and worked as ambassador of Panama in Libya, though he doesn't have the Panama nationality. He was known by the name of the "pirate" and he has always been a subject of many controversial stories. Anthony Tannouri was interviewed by Ricardo Karam in Beirut, Lebanon.
