Born in Beirut where East and West intersect, Fuad Makhzoumi –President of National Dialogue Party and President of Future Pipe Industries, USA- started his business career in 1975 in KSA where he played a major role in developing one of the largest private industrial groups of companies. In 1984, he acquired a substantial interest in a UAE industrial company. Makhzoumi managed the company and worked on its development until it became the core of Future Pipe Industries with specialized subsidiaries throughout the world. These subsidiaries own industrial, commercial, financial, real estate, consultancy, and security, information, multimedia and publishing business, added to research centers. These various interests are located in 23 countries such as Lebanon, UAE, Qatar, Oman, Netherlands, Germany, UK, USA, Spain, Thailand, Singapore and others.
Mr. Makhzoumi is a renowned glamorous success in business, economics, sociology and public affairs.
His commencement into the public affairs in Lebanon was after the Lebanese civil war. His economic experience allowed him to understand the social and political structure in Lebanon. He wanted to make a difference and a change. He established the Mahkzoumi Foundation in 1997 and since then was contributing through its various programs to the civil society development in Lebanon. Makzoumi’s vision towards economy extends all borders and his belief that economy is the main element in the development of any country motivates his world-wide projects and draws his bright achievements.
