
Lebanon’s finest example of rapprochement between Christians and Muslims, one of the country’s most dynamic women thinkers, sister of disappeared Imam Moussa Al-Sadr, and as President of the Imam Al-Sadr Foundation that consists of six vocational schools and an orphanage, Rabab Al-Sadr has overseen the growth of the foundation into one of the most successful schools in Lebanon applying the latest technology and equipment. With open doors to the needy, regardless of religious or social backgrounds, Al-Sadr is in charge of the girls division, providing the right environment to increase their love for education and order while preparing them with academic and technical skills to be responsible members of society. Al-Sadr has participated in many conferences on women’s issues world wide, promoting dialogue between people of different faiths, sharing ideas and implementing the necessary steps collectively to improve society.
