Born in Medenin in Tunisia, daughter of Tunisian diplomat Mohamed Jnifen, slim and slender with startling dark looks, Jnifen first achieved fame as a supermodel who then went on to become an actress. Married to one of Italy’s business leaders, Marco Tronchetti Provera, head of Pirelli and telecom Italia, Jnifen now lives in Italy. Circulating within high social and political circles Jnifen’s contribution to the screen included Inspector Montalbano: The Sandwich Thief and Nonsolomoda.
