
Alain Khouri founded IMPACT in 1971 in Beirut, Lebanon; he co-founded Optimum Media Direction in the Middle East in 2002.
Graduated in 1966 from ENSAAV (Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture et des Arts Visuels) in Brussels.
At the beginning of his career, he taught Advertising at the Lebanese University of Fine Arts in Beirut. He founded IMPACT Advertising in Beirut in 1971 and has been at the forefront of IMPACT’s merger with BBDO in 1979 and the aggressive expansion of IMPACT/BBDO Group throughout the Middle East.
IMPACT/BBDO today ranks among the top three international Marketing-Communication networks in the region with 6 full service offices and over 750 professional staff throughout the Middle East.
