After earning a scholarship to study at the American University Of Beirut, he spent 7days at the University and faced the challenge of not being able to financially survive living in Lebanon and therefore chose to come back to Jordan to pursue a working career securing a decent life for the family.
Driven towards a focused mission, Elia Nuqul established his first venture in 1952, Nuqul Brothers Company; it was then a modest operation trading in the importation and distribution of foodstuffs.
Through sustained efforts and under Nuqul's steered guidance, it later evolved to become a recognized and reputable business establishment well known in the markets of Jordan, the region and worldwide. A conglomerate of 31 regional and global companies with hygienic paper products at the core and supporting complementary businesses to the industry.
Today, Elia Nuqul spearheads a venture bringing together more than 5,500 employees and exporting its products to over 45 countries worldwide.
