Abdullah Mazrui is one of the most prominent businessmen and philanthropists in the Gulf. Born in 1952, he was the only survivor among his siblings due to the unhealthy and severe conditions of the desert at that time. Mr. Mazrui witnessed the growth and the development of UAE. As a matter of fact, he was part of that economic boom. Abdullah Mazrui serves today as the chairman of several companies among which Emirates Insurance Company, Mazrui Holding Company, The National Investor and International School of Choueifat. In addition to the above, he also serves on the Board of many companies such as National Investment Corporation, Abu Dhabi Education Council, and Abu Dhabi Economic Council.
