Growing up with a real love of philanthropy, the strong conviction of Abdul Aziz was that human development and protecting the dignity of the world’s disadvantaged citizens could only be achieved by investing in human beings. In this light HRH created scholarship support for Saudi youth and improved the public health sector in Saudi Arabia. He initiated the “Arab Gulf Program for United Nations Development Organizations”-AGFUND-which through regional institutions alleviates the suffering of the poor, helps them to become active citizens and to join in leading the Arab societies towards a better future. Ricardo Karam twice interviewed Prince Talal Bin Abdul Aziz once in Paris, France and once in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
