Born in Lebanon, wedding gown designer Acra studied at both Paris and New York, where she settled for a career as an embroidery artist. As president and designer, her bridal company shot to the top. Combining embroidery with luxurious fabrics, her appreciation of the traditional and the classic have created some of the most beautiful bridal gowns on the market. Appearing on the pages of leading bridal publications, her designs are a favorite of luxury stores and sought out by celebrities. In 2000 she launched an evening wear collection that received an enthusiastic welcome by the world of fashion.
