Born of Armenian immigrants, this multitalented entertainer struggled throughout his life to climb to the top. Although recognized as one of the top singers of the twentieth century, recording over 740 songs and selling over a 100 million records, in a career spanning six decades, Aznavour also starred in countless films. With almost all his songs dealing with love, Aznavour remains one of France’s most popular and enduring singers. His prestigious recognition includes the Officier de La Legion d’honneur, awarded in 1997.
