Lebanese born basketball player whose pro-career started with Miami Heat breaking club records and leading the team in rebounds and blocks. Enjoying six seasons with the Heat, Seikely was awarded the NBA’s Most Improved Player in 1990. Forced to retire after surgery to his foot, the annual Rony Seikely Golf Tournament that benefits cystic fibrosis assures that people will remember him as more than a hugely important Arab-American sports player in history. Seikely is now active in real estate development.
Ricardo Karam twice interviewed Rony Seikely once in Paris, France and once in Miami, USA.
