
A deeply religious man with strong family values, Daou moved to Paris following the outbreak of war in Lebanon in 1975. He ended up a believer in technology with an American success story. Blessed with a golden touch, Daou Systems, an IT company specializing in setting networks nationwide, went public in 1997 and became the fifth best performing IPO on NASDAQ where it reached a value of $700million. This triumph was followed by Digital Orchid which in turn became a highly recognizable publisher and distributor of cell phone information with aims to expand worldwide.
