Dear Ricardo, There is no doubt that “Hadiath Akhar” is one of the most outstanding interview shows on Arab TV stations at the present time. The reason is that you not only bring out top notch personalities but also you bring out the best from the interviewee. This is done not only through the type of questions you ask, but also through your interaction with the interviewee. This makes you a unique journalist with qualities that few Arab journalists have. I do thank you for giving me the opportunity to tell your audience through my life what could a person do to one’s country. I am from the generation that recalls what President John F. Kennedy said in his inaugural address, “and so, my fellow Americans, ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country”. In the same spirit, I will ask, my fellow Iraqis, ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country. I hope my life and contribution will be seen in this spirit.
