Souar had a classic chat show format. It featured some five or six guests, each enjoying Ricardo's focus of attention for a few minutes before moving on to the next one.

Focus, presented in French, was Ricardo's first work for television. This weekly current affairs program allowed Ricardo to explore many different subjects while developing his characteristic interview techniques.
