Hisham Jaroudi is an architect, engineer and developer whose large scale residential, commercial and public projects can be found across the Middle-East. In 1960, he formerly co-founded an engineering firm in Qatar and oversaw the construction of various prestigious real estate projects in the Gulf. 1992, Jaroudi founded his own real estate, consulting and engineering firm in Lebanon. A philanthropist and longtime donor to the American University of Beirut, he has funded substantial extension building to various faculties, most notably the newly renovated lobby at the Beirut Medical Center. He is founder of the Izzat Jaroudi Foundation and the Beirut Heritage Foundation. Since 1990, he has served as president at the Sporting Club of Beirut.
