High level roundtable

Ricardo Karam moderated a High-level media roundtable, through Zoom, during which, Regional Directors from UNICEF Middle East and North Africa , International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies – IFRC, World Health Organization, IOM – UN Migration, and news editors reflected on challenges and lessons learned when communicating about Covid19. The discussion raised the importance of access to accurate information by journalists avoiding misinformation and propagation of falsehoods. It also explored ways of narrowing the gap in communication between organizations and media and how to solidify patterns to entice populations to get the vaccine amid growing fears of it.
