I am the storm

And then like so many times before in the history of this beautiful broken land, we reject the pain and annihilation and we remember this quote, oddly fitting for our broken city: ”They whispered to her ‘you cannot withstand the storm’. She whispered back ‘I am the storm”. Lebanon is in each one of us the fierce storm that makes it impossible for us to be vanquished.
