Ricardo Karam was part of Harvard Arab World Conference where he led the ‘Arab Health; Thriving or surviving?’ panel which explored the potential of Arab societies in advancing healthcare across the region, overcoming challenges, and roles of governments, industry, and philanthropists in promoting cost-effective and innovative cross-country quality care-how. He discussed with his panelists how there has not been significant health impact across the Arab world or breakthrough contributions to the medical innovation.
